This Privacy Policy describes how TextMyAgent ("TextMyAgent," "we," "us," or "our"), a service operated by KJ Bucketlist Inv, LLC ("the Company"), collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our SMS-based personal AI assistant service (the "Service") available through our website at https://textmyagent.app.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Phone number. Required to deliver the Service. Collected when you sign up via our website or when you begin an SMS conversation with the Service.
- Email address. Collected at signup for account recovery, billing notices, and critical service communications.
- Payment information. Processed and stored by our payment provider Stripe, Inc. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Name (optional). Collected only if you choose to share it.
1.2 Information generated through your use of the Service
- Message content. The text of messages you send to the Service and messages the Service sends to you, stored to provide conversation continuity, memory, and service quality.
- Profile information derived from conversations. Preferences, goals, interests, and other facts you share that the Service uses to personalize future interactions.
- Usage data. Message timestamps, delivery status, and diagnostic metadata necessary for operating the Service.
1.3 Information collected automatically
- Device and log data when you visit our website (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) — standard web analytics used only to operate and improve the website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Deliver the Service, including responding to your messages and personalizing your experience
- Process subscription payments and manage your account
- Send service-related messages (subscription reminders, account alerts)
- Provide customer support
- Improve the quality of the Service
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not use your information to train third-party AI models.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Disclosures
3.1 Consent
By providing your phone number at signup and checking the consent checkbox, you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages from TextMyAgent at the number provided, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
3.2 Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions and preferences. On average, users receive up to 10 messages per day. Actual frequency may be higher or lower based on your conversations with the Service.
3.3 Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier's plan. TextMyAgent is not responsible for carrier charges.
3.4 Opt-out
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt back in.

3.6 Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 Mobile information and messaging consent — A2P 10DLC compliance
Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This applies to your phone number, opt-in status, all message content, and any profile information derived from your messages.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not engage in affiliate marketing, third-party lead generation, or any activity that would result in your phone number, your opt-in to receive messages, or the content of your messages being shared, sold, transferred, or otherwise made available to a third party for marketing or promotional purposes — under any circumstances.
4.2 The only parties that ever receive data from us
We share information only with operational service providers, only for the purpose of delivering the Service, and only under contractual confidentiality:
- Amazon Web Services (infrastructure hosting, data storage)
- Anthropic PBC (AI language model, via AWS Bedrock)
- Twilio Inc. (SMS delivery)
- Stripe Inc. (payment processing)
These providers are not authorized to use your information for their own marketing purposes.
4.3 Other limited situations
- Legal compliance, when required by applicable law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice before your information is transferred and the privacy commitments above will continue to bind any successor entity.
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts: We retain your account information and conversation history for as long as your account is active.
- Cancelled accounts: We retain account data for 60 days after cancellation to allow easy reactivation. After 60 days, account data is anonymized or deleted.
- Legal retention: We may retain limited data longer where required by law (e.g., for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes).
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and secure infrastructure (AWS). No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your personal information
- Port your data to another service
- Opt out of certain uses of your information
- Withdraw consent at any time (by replying STOP and requesting account deletion)

7.1 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

8. Children
The Service is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where practical, by sending you an SMS or email notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
